Coalition for a Tobacco-free Sonoma County
Comprised of various community-based organizations involved in community health education against tobacco use.

Community Activity and Nutrition Coalition
A group of individuals, professionals and community based organizations concerned about the nutritional health, activity level and well-being of the residents of our community.

Health Action
Health Action meets quarterly at 1030 Apollo Way in Santa Rosa.

Healthy Eating Active Living Community Health Initiative (HEAL)
HEAL is a project of the Community Activity and Nutrition Coalition of Sonoma County (CAN-C) that is funded by Kaiser Permanente Northern California Region.

Healthcare Disaster Planning Forum
The Healthcare Disaster Planning Forum meets quarterly to discuss planning and coordination of emergency preparedness and response for disasters affecting the health of the public.

HIV Routine Testing Task Force
The HIV Routine Testing Task Force works to reduce the transmission of HIV and improve health outcomes for those who are infected, by educating the community and providers about the benefits of early HIV testing, and by building the capacity for routine HIV testing in a range of health care settings.

Infectious Disease Task Force
The Infectious Disease Task Force is a monthly work group that meets to discuss infectious diseases and develop strategies to prevent or contain them.

MCAH Advisory Board
The MCAH Advisory Board meets the first Thursday of each month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The public is welcome at all MCAH Advisory Board meetings.

Mental Health Board
The community is invited to attend all Mental Health Board meetings.

Mental Health Services Act
Sonoma County's public planning process for implementation of the MHSA began in the fall of 2004 and has continued over the last five years. This webpage supports the ongoing work effort by providing access to related documents for each component of the MHSA.

Nurse-Family Partnership Advisory Council
The Sonoma County Nurse-Family Partnership Advisory Council meets four times a year to provide guidance and support to the Nurse-Family Partnership program, an evidence-based nurse home visiting program that serves low-income, first-time mothers.

Public Health Preparedness Task Force
This planning and advisory group meets twice a year to work on coordinated disaster planning for health and medical emergencies, including pandemic influenza preparedness.

Sonoma County Advisory Board on Alcohol and Other Drug Problems
Monthly meetings are open to the public, and are held in room 1 at the Orenda Center, 1430 Neotomas Avenue, in Santa Rosa.

First 5 Sonoma County
All meetings are open to the public. Commission meetings are held the fourth Monday of the month from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Sonoma County Commission on AIDS
The Commission on AIDS meets monthly at the Public Health offices at 625 5th Street in Santa Rosa.

Sonoma County Emergency Medical Care Committee

Sonoma County's Food Industry Advisory Forum (FIAF)
The FIAF meets quarterly at locations around Sonoma County.
