Scholarships
The Sonoma County Fish & Wildlife Commission scholarship is designed to provide tangible encouragement and public recognition for academic achievement or community service to a student with a course of study in the field of natural resource management environmental restoration and/or preservation.
The awards are in the amount of two thousand, five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) each. Up to two scholarships may be awarded annually.
The criteria to be used in the selection of the recipient of this award are:
- Residence in Sonoma County
- Enrollment in a course of study in the area of wildlife conservation, resource conservation/restoration, fisheries or other biology or oceanography at a California campus
- Student level Junior College through College Junior

Applicant must complete and provide the following:
- Scholarship application form (answer in space provided only)
- School transcript for the past year
- Two letters of recommendation
Timing and where to send:
Scholarships are mailed out early December
Deadline for submission
is March 31st
Application form should be mailed to the Sonoma
County Agricultural Commissioners Office
